Erik Hoover
Erik Hoover has over 20 years of experience in beauty, fashion, licensing and consumer products industries in diversified functions of increasing responsibility in global marketing, strategy and international business development. He is considered an expert in branding, identifying and capturing market opportunities, directing social, influencer and online business, building alliances, licensing and driving long-term revenue growth.
Mr. Hoover has worked with some of the world's top brands. He has partnered with numerous celebrities in building brands and has consulted for brands such as Anastasia Beverly Hills, Manic Panic Hair Color and Saule Health and Beauty. He led marketing globally for Tweezerman, the world’s leading beauty tool manufacturer and member of the Zwilling J.A. Henckels Group. As Vice President of Global Marketing his accomplishments included expanding the marketing team, increasing product line, sales, brand identity and global presence with a focus on Asia and the Asia Pacific region. He introduced new designs, licensing with Betsey Johnson, Agatha Ruiz de la Prada, Gwen Stafani's Harajuku Lovers, Cynthia Rowley and Issac Mizrahi. He also forged relationships with the world’s top luxury retailers such as Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Harrods and Lord & Taylor.
While serving at Pantone Mr. Hoover directed the Consumer Products Division for the company known as the world’s most renowned authority on color. As Global Director of the Consumer Products Division he developed licensing for Pantone Universe - a collection of luxury lifestyle products based on fashion color trends for the consumer and created partnerships with brands such as Timex, Sony, Sephora, MOMA, Barney’s, Lord & Taylor and New York’s Olympus Fashion Week.
While serving at ĽOréal he led all sales and marketing for Shu Uemura, one of ĽOréal’s key luxury brands. As Brand Director he traveled extensively to Asia and worked closely with Mr. Shu Uemura and the Japanese team on the brand’s international development. He developed successful partnerships with Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, Nordstrom and New York’s Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.
He served as Manager of Promotional Marketing for the Lancôme brand focusing on promotional events, advertising, and product launches. His accomplishments included the creation of strategic promotional campaigns that were retail generating and brand image enhancing including the development of Lancôme’s highly successful National Makeup Artist program and Studio 59 - Lancôme’s store at Bloomingdale's NYC dedicated to special events, new product launches and appearances by top makeup artists and celebrities.
Mr. Hoover is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Executive Education Program.
